 History says it all. Earlier in 1830, the solution to the chromatic aberration was found. As we know it, chromatic aberration distorts the proportion of colour content. The basic theory has it that given the colours have different wavelengths, they respond or refract to different degrees. Having said that, blue will focus in proximity to the lens than red, yellow or otherwise. The order of the colours is VIBGYOR (violet, indigo, blue, green, and yellow, orange, red). Don’t get quizzed when you come across a halo of colours around any object under observation. That just might be chromatic aberration. Now you know the term, people. Flaunt, eh?!
