    A mutation is a change in DNA sequence. When gametes are formed they only receive one allele or the other. I don;t know if I understand your question right, but for example, if there is a hair gene, and the alleles are brown hair and blond hair, each gamete receives one or the other. And then it depends on what they receive from the other parents that decide what they get.

    Question: Each type of gene with its different allele must be present in each of the four gametes produced, right? Otherwise it is considered a mutation or is it simply not possible?

    learned more in 6 minutes than we learned this whole week… that goes to show me how useless schools are. If all the dumbasses in schools stopped interrupting and just paid attention everyone could be done with school much quicker.
